In a Nutshell

It is important for students to realize that all humans possess characteristics, skills, and abilities that make them unique. The study of similarities and differences among individuals provides the foundation for students to demonstrate an understanding of and respect for others.

  • Provide opportunities for students to make connections between compelling and supporting questions which help answer essential questions regarding the need to respect individual uniqueness.
