Objective 6.1   Describe the ongoing impact of interdependence on the world’s economies resulting in the creation and growth of multinational organizations, international trade agreements, and the challenges faced by the global economy.

In a Nutshell

To evaluate contemporary global issues students must be able to analyze the role and impact of multinational organizations.  Students will explore the effect of decisions made by organizations such as the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, World Trade Organization, and the World Health Organization.  As globalization increases, it is crucial for students to have the skills to analyze how decisions made by other countries whose economies are interwoven with ours affect them.
